Taking an idea from a rough sketch to something people can use

Overview

I'll help you take an idea from a rough sketch all the way to something real. We figure out what the people using it need, then shape it into something clear and easy to use. And I check the work against how people use it, so the decisions hold up.

How I approach it

  1. Start with the real problem

I start with the job you're trying to do, and the features follow from there. We agree up front on what a good outcome looks like.

  2. Sketch it rough first

Quick, cheap sketches let us try a direction before putting time into polish. I get rough versions in front of people early.

  3. Refine with real use

Each round gets a little closer, checked against how people use it.

  4. Get it out and keep learning

Once it's out, I set things up so you can see what's working and decide what to improve next, without guessing.
